Dehradun, Uttarakhand – Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced on Tuesday that 26,500 youth have secured government jobs in Uttarakhand over the past four years, more than double the total under previous administrations.
The announcement came during a ceremony distributing appointment letters to 1,456 newly selected candidates, including:
109 Review Officers and Assistant Review Officers through the State Public Service Commission (UPSC)
1,347 Assistant Teachers (LT) through the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UKSSSC)

CM Dhami Highlights Transparent Recruitment
CM Dhami emphasized that earlier governments faced corruption and malpractice in recruitment processes, including rigging, bribery, and the flourishing of a cheating mafia.
“Strict anti-cheating laws brought in by our government have made the system transparent, enabling deserving candidates to secure multiple posts on merit,” Dhami said.
He added,
“These are not just statistics; they are direct evidence. The number of jobs we have provided in four years is more than double the total provided by previous governments since the state’s creation.”
