MoE Provides Computers to Schools in UP’s Baghpat Under Vidyanjali Initiative

The Ministry of Education (MoE) has taken a significant step to promote digital learning in Uttar Pradesh’s Baghpat district by providing 75 high-quality refurbished computers to 15 government schools. This initiative is part of the Vidyanjali programme, a flagship effort by the Department of School Education aimed at bridging the digital divide and enhancing the quality of education in government schools across India.

About the Vidyanjali Initiative
Vidyanjali is designed to foster community participation in education. It aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which emphasizes technology integration in classrooms and encourages innovative teaching and learning methods. The programme allows volunteers, CSR organizations, and NGOs to contribute time, resources, and expertise to schools. Since its launch, Vidyanjali has onboarded over 8.33 lakh schools, engaged 5.55 lakh individual volunteers, and collaborated with more than 2,300 CSR and NGO partners, positively impacting nearly 1.8 crore students nationwide.
