The Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan (RBSE), Ajmer, is all set to release the much-anticipated Class 8 board examination results today. The official announcement will be made at a press conference scheduled for 5 pm, where the Education Minister, Madan Diwar, is expected to provide a comprehensive overview of this year’s academic performance. This includes revealing the overall pass percentage, district-wise statistics, gender-wise results, and the names of the top-performing students.

This year, approximately 12 lakh students appeared for the Class 8 examinations held from April 7 to April 17 across various centers in Rajasthan. Students are required to secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject as well as an overall score to qualify for promotion to the next academic level. Those failing to meet these criteria will be considered unsuccessful and may need to repeat the academic year to improve their performance.
The Rajasthan Board has made the result accessible via multiple official portals, including rajshaladarpan.nic.in, rajresults.nic.in, and rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in. Once the results are declared, students can easily download their scorecards by entering their unique roll numbers along with their date of birth on the designated login pages. The scorecards will provide detailed information, including subject-wise theory and practical marks, total marks obtained, grade or division, and pass/fail status.
Last year’s results set a high benchmark, with an impressive overall pass percentage of 95.71%. Female students performed slightly better, achieving a pass rate of 96.39%, while male students recorded a pass percentage of 95.14%. The education authorities hope to maintain or improve these figures this year through enhanced academic efforts and student support programs.
The Rajasthan Board’s efforts to ensure transparency and ease of access have also been appreciated, with multiple websites providing real-time updates to accommodate the large volume of students checking their results. Students are encouraged to download and save their results for future reference and academic purposes.
With the Class 8 results being a crucial milestone for students as they transition from middle school to secondary education, the announcement holds significant importance for students, parents, and educators alike. It also sets the stage for students to plan their future academic and career paths with better clarity.
