Supreme Court Questions CLAT Exam Quality, Issues Notice to Centre

IIT Madras has launched five free AI courses on the SWAYAM Plus platform, targeting a broad audience including students, professionals, and faculty. The courses require no prior AI or coding experience and include: “AI in Physics,” “AI in Chemistry,” “AI in Accounting,” “Cricket Analytics with AI,” and “AI/ML using Python.”
Each course ranges from 25 to 45 hours with practical learning using real datasets. Registration is open until May 12, 2025. While learning is free, certificates are available for a nominal fee. Indian Institute of Foreign Trade to Launch GIFT City Campus
The Ministry of Education approved the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade’s off-campus centre in Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City), Gandhinagar. Starting soon, the centre will offer the flagship MBA in International Business, short-term courses, and research support in international trade.
This expansion fits India’s National Education Policy 2020 goals and GIFT City’s vision as a global financial hub, aiming to nurture talent specialized in international trade and finance.
West Bengal Class 12 (Uchcha Madhyamik) Results Declared: 90.79% Pass
The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) declared the Class 12 results for the academic year 2024-25 on May 7, 2025. Over 8 lakh students appeared, achieving a commendable 90.79% pass rate.
Students can check results online at wbresults.nic.in and wbchse.wb.gov.in. Schools will distribute original mark sheets and certificates starting May 8, with options for scrutiny and re-evaluation available.
